tested using PHP 8.2 using zc v2.1.0, with zen-cart reporting zero errors.
new version allows for sorting of payment wallet methods as well as enabling and disabling from zc dashboard.
square states the current sdk is good for PHP 7.4 through PHP ^8.0 (which should mean any version of PHP 8.x.x).
HOWEVER, some vendor libraries require PHP 8.0 and are only supported to PHP 8.2.
